Community for What Comes Next
SGP Young Adults is a community for ages 18–30 navigating college, careers, relationships, independence, faith, and the decisions that come with building an adult life. Through Bible study, social gatherings, honest conversations, service, and relationships that grow over time, we create a community where young adults can find encouragement, share life with others, and keep g rowing through every new season.
We care about more than the career they choose, the milestones they reach, or where life takes them. We care about who they are becoming along the way.
Real Life. Real Faith. Real Community
Young adulthood is full of transition. College, work, relationships, finances, independence, family, faith, and the future can all shift at once. SGP Young Adults creates space to navigate those changes alongside people who genuinely care.
Some gatherings center on Scripture and honest conversation about how faith intersects with everyday life. Others may be a meal together, a game night, an outing, a service project, or simply time to catch up and stay connected.
The format may change. The relationships continue.

A Community That Lasts
Some people come to SGP Young Adults after growing up in our Youth Program. Others find us during college, after graduation, or somewhere in between. Wherever they begin, we want to build relationships that remain meaningful as life changes. Mentoring here is relational, not formal. Guidance grows naturally through trusted relationships, shared experiences, honest conversations, and the willingness to talk about the parts of adult life that are not always easy to navigate.
We want to be the kind of community people can grow with, not simply grow out of.
Growing Into Leadership
As young adults gain experience and confidence, we want them to take a more active role in The Stained Glass Project. That may mean serving, helping lead activities, volunteering with SGP Youth, mentoring younger participants, or using their own gifts to strengthen the organization. Around ages 28 to 30, we begin an intentional transition from participant to contributor. The goal is for young adults to carry forward what they have received by becoming volunteers, mentors, leaders, donors, supporters, and people who invest in the next generation. Young adults who work directly with minors complete the same required screening and background-check process as every other Youth volunteer.
The goal is not to age out of the Project. It is to become part of what keeps it growing.
