About the Stained Glass Project
Many Pieces
One Beautiful Purpose
The Stained Glass Project is an Arlington-based 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit investing in Youth (7th-12th grade) and Young Adults (Ages 18-30).
Through relationships, faith, practical life lessons, leadership, and service, we help young people discover their purpose, prepare for life, and learn how to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Every story is different. Every person brings something valuable. Every piece has a place.

More Than a Weekly Gathering
The Stained Glass Project is built around relationships that grow over time. We want young people to have a community where they are known, encouraged, challenged, and given room to become more confident in who they are and who God is calling them to be.
Our investment can begin as early as 7th grade and continue through high school, college, careers, relationships, and the transition into adulthood. Along the way, we want to share wisdom, celebrate milestones, walk through difficult seasons, and help young people navigate whatever comes next.
Programs create opportunities. Relationships are what make them matter.
Why We Exists
Because the years that shape a life should not be navigated alone.
Young people make some of life's most important decisions before they have the experience to feel fully prepared for them. Faith, identity, relationships, education, careers, money, family, responsibility, failure, and the future all bring questions that deserve more than quick answers.
The Stained Glass Project exists to surround youth and young adults with people who will show up, listen, share wisdom honestly, and challenge them to grow. We create a Christian-centered community where questions are welcome, practical lessons are shared, leadership is developed, and young people are given meaningful opportunities to contribute.
We want them to develop more than knowledge. We want them to build the faith, judgment, resilience, character, and confidence they will need when life becomes complicated, plans change, opportunities arise, and other people begin depending on them.
"We are not here simply to give young people a place to go.
We are here to help prepare them for where life will take them."

Stories From Inside the Project

Brooke
Over the past 6 years, Kaitlyn and Logan have encouraged me more than anyone else to immerse myself in the Word and live like Jesus. With the creation of SGP, I know they will be able to help fulfill so many teens’ lives.

David
Over the past few years of my life, Kaitlyn has poured into me and many of my friends. She cares relentlessly about what’s going on in our lives and how we’re doing, and she has been a pillar of Faith in mine and many other’s lives.

Liz
The SGP has given me a group of people who pour into my cup and push me closer to Christ! I’m so blessed to have a second family who has watched me grow up!

Created in Arlington. Committed to Arlington.
The Stained Glass Project is intentionally local. We want to know our young people, partner with families, work alongside schools and churches, and serve the neighborhoods around us. Our goal is not to become the largest organization. Our goal is to become an organization Arlington knows, trusts, and is proud to call its own.
Our success will not be measured by how far our name travels,
but by how deeply our work matters here.
